A renowned spa town

A state-recognised spa with brine, drinking and thermal springs and one of Germany's largest spa gardens. Six rehabilitation clinics make the town a centre of the German healthcare economy.

A Mittelstand industrial town

Maritim group headquarters, world-market leader Sollich, Coko-Werk, decor metall, Linnenbecker, Bega Can — 21 nationally ranked top companies are based here.

A trade-fair hub

The exhibition centre offers around 85,000 m² of hall space and 26 trade fairs a year — FMB (mechanical engineering) and ZOW (furniture supply) bring decision-makers from all over Germany.

Hoffmannspark: healthcare next door

Directly adjacent lies Hoffmannspark — the health and residential quarter on the former factory site: radiology, internal medicine, a senior residence and several other practices. For healthcare tenants this means established patient flows and an address that is firmly anchored in the town's medical landscape.

A few steps further, the shopping centre with its large Marktkauf store generates daily footfall. More than 80 companies and practices are based along Hoffmannstrasse — one of the town's 18 official commercial zones.

Around 300 companies with 40,000 employees — Phoenix Contact, Weidmüller, Beckhoff, DMG Mori, Wago. The flagship trade fair FMB takes place in Bad Salzuflen.

Two out of three German kitchens come from OWL: Nobilia, Poggenpohl, SieMatic, Häcker. The supplier fair ZOW is at home in Bad Salzuflen.
